RENTAL POLICIES  
CHECK-IN:
4:00 p.m. or after.  Keys to be picked up at Shoreline Vacation Rentals, Inc. After hours a packet with keys and a map will be made available to you. Call for details. 
CHECK-OUT:
11:00 a.m. or before. Keys must be returned to our office unless prior arrangements are made (extra charge may apply).  Late checkouts will incur an additional charge. 
AMENITIES:
Each home has many amenities. Bring your food and clothing/personal items.  A starter set of paper products, all linens and kindling/firewood are provided. 
PETS:
Select units do allow pets for which there is a $20 per pet/day charge.  Evidence of pets anywhere on a property where pets are not allowed is grounds for eviction, additional charges and/or retention of your security deposit.
SMOKING:
Smoking is not allowed in any of our units.  Evidence of smoking will be a basis for eviction, additional charges and/or retention of your security deposit.
NUMBER OF GUESTS:
When you make your reservation, you will be asked for the number of guests in your party.  Any additional guests must be reported prior to their arrival.  Unreported guests at a unit will constitute a basis for termination of your stay with no refund of rent, possible additional charges and/or retention of your security deposit.
CANCELLATION:
You may cancel up to three days after you make your reservation without charge.  Thereafter, you will incur a cancellation charge from fifteen to 100 percent depending on how soon before your scheduled arrival date you have to cancel and whether the house can be re-rented. 
PAYMENTS:
One half of the total will be due ten days or less  from the date you make your reservation.  Your second payment will be due three to four weeks prior to your arrival.  No personal checks are accepted less than three weeks prior to your arrival. We always quote the cash rate for our units which reflects a five percent discount from what you will pay if you charge the stay on your credit card.  We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.  Debit cards are considered credit cards.

OTHER CHARGES:
In addition to your rent, the total charge you incur covers all other expenses including county bed tax, cleaning and spa maintenance (if applicable).You will also be charged a refundable Security Deposit of $300 in most cases or a non-refundable Damage Waiver fee (ask your booking agent for details).
SECURITY DEPOSITS:
Security deposits are refunded by check typically within 14 days after you vacate your unit.  All or part of the security deposit will be forfeited if Shoreline Vacation Rentals, Inc.  terms and conditions are not followed as outlined in the renter's contract. 
REFUNDS:
Conditions beyond our control, weather, road conditions, power outage, TV/Cable outages or guest emergencies do not constitute a basis for recovery.  In the event of water, plumbing or appliance failures, we will dispatch a repair person as soon as the problem is reported.  Persistence of such conditions constitutes a basis for Shoreline Vacation Rentals, Inc. to move you to a comparable unit.  For cancellation of reservations, see "Cancellation" above.
SPAS:
Spas are serviced on the day of check in.  Shoreline Vacation Rentals, Inc. makes every effort to supply you with a spa in good operating condition.   Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances may render our spas inoperable.  SVR, Inc. regrets these unusual inconveniences but cannot offer compensation in such cases.  Spa use is at your own risk.
UNIT CHANGES:
Shoreline Vacation Rentals, Inc. reserves the right to move guests to a comparable unit when circumstances occur beyond our reasonable control. (See "Refunds" above.) 
WAIVER:
Guests waive all claims for injury to persons or property resulting from any cause other than the affirmative negligence of Shoreline Vacation Rentals, Inc..
